SAETO is the name of a cluster of international research projects of the EU’s Leonardo da Vinci Programme
SAETO deals with the adaptation of the European Excellence Modells (CAF, EFQM, Project Excellence) to the language and reality of Education and Training Organisations (ETO) and with the dissemination and validation of the results in different countries.
Based on the original SAETO Project (2005-2007) two spin-off projects (TI-SAETO & Trans-SAETO, 2008-2010) extended, improved and fine-tuned the tools and training materials taking into account the participants' language and cultural background and being validated with over 85 pilots, thus developing a European Standard that respects local requirements.
End of 2011 the SAETO project family was enlarged by the Leonardo da Vinci Projects ACES, Design for Excellence und EVET, that extended the number of reported case studies by another 30 pilots.
In mid-2013, representatives of all 6 SAETO projects joined in the LdV Partnership Project „SAETO-Web“ to develop a common platform for marketing and supporting the SAETO Solution.
